I did this piece straight from my imagination. It's so much about who I am in my heart of hearts. Hopefully, it will help make sense of the words I chose.
My oh my has this been the theme. The words we speak over ourselves are the words we become.
The words I speak over myself are the word I become.
ALL the experts I like believe firmly in having 3 words to carry in your heart that describe your style.
I've tried: Elegant, Effortless, Ethereal
I've tried: Creative, Classic Comfortable, Romantic/poetic
I've tried: Boho, conservative, mysterious. LOL (those words didn't last long, but they informed me)
Today though, she framed the question this way: What three words describe what you want people to know just by looking at you.
I've settled on:
Grace-full
Peace-full
Joy-full
Have I settled? Maybe.
Could be
European
Poetic
Effortless
All I can say is these are the three lists of words:
1-What one word says:
European ease, Parisian street wear, classic in the sense of the the Greek classics, refined, sophisticated, timeless, full of natural grace, educated, world traveled, elegant
Grace?
2-What one word says:
Creative, artistic, vibrant, full of life, expressive, uninhibited, effortless, adventurous, friendly, interesting
Joy?
3-What one word says:
Romantic but not sexy, ethereal, feminine in a soft flowy settled way like a flowing river, poetic, sweet light, glowing with natural beauty.
Peace?
My Pinterest page on my dream of how I'd like to dress:
She had us name three words for 3 settings. In each setting, the word "vibrant" was there. I think I feel boring.
Maybe a great overall word would be "intriguing". I actually like that. The Thesaurus says that can mean:
interesting, fascinating, absorbing, compelling, gripping, riveting, captivating, engaging, enthralling, diverting, stimulating, thought-provoking.
Can my personal style reflect that? How would my body fit that? Is it too much? Can I be both my introvert and extrovert self in that? I'm thinking maybe yes. Kinda happy with that one word.
